Volunteers are needed for extra roles with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City.

Kansas City, MO - infoZine - If you've ever wondered what it's like to experience a professional stage production from the other side of the footlights, this could be your opportunity. The Lyric Opera of Kansas City uses volunteers as extras in many of their productions and you can sign up now for parts in upcoming shows. There are still spots available in "La Boheme," opening September 13th.

Volunteers are not required to audition for the parts and no prior stage experience is required. There is also no singing; in fact, there are no lines to memorize at all. You do need to have evenings and week-ends free to attend rehearsals and be able to commit to attending all scheduled rehearsals and performances. In return you'll get comp tickets, billing in the program, and the experience of sharing a stage with world class talent.
